The Path to Myself
INTRODUCTION
This book is for all people who have started on the path of self-discovery. It presents my personal experience and insights that will help anyone embark on the path of awareness. To know oneself and realize being.
The reader will learn how events occur, how a person creates reality, and how possibilities open up. Understanding the essence, they will be able to take even greater control over their life and, first and foremost, become more whole and happier. The reader will be able to balance all phases of life relevant to them: physical health, spiritual development, and control over their mind.
I emphasize once again – this is where the balancing of the three components of our personality begins: soul, mind, and physical body.
This book is for those who have decided to change themselves and are ready to radically change not only their own life but also, by their example, the lives of those around them. Once consciously embarking on the path of self-development, a person will no longer want to return to their previous level of existence. Moving from level to level, they will begin to think differently and look at all life situations from the angle of conscious perception.
The path to awareness is always development and always a process. This path practically never ends: it has many levels, and the more aware a person becomes, the more they become a magician of their own life. Their being can favorably influence people, events, and bring much more good into their life and this world.
All people seek happiness, peace, well-being. Life is created in such a way that there is no nonlinearity. There is a striving for balance everywhere, but this life is more like a wave. Circumstances can be different: in some, everything is difficult when the wave goes down, in others – it is joyful and the wave crest is high. Then the balancing turns out to be low too. As a result, the amplitude increases. When a person becomes calmer and realizes the principles of being, knows themselves, many opportunities open up for them, and most importantly, this amplitude decreases. That is, a person gets maximum pleasure from life.
And when difficulties come, thanks to calmness and awareness, they resolve themselves. That is, when faced with difficulties, a person realizes that the most optimal solution to the problem is happening in their life. Tools appear to optimize every experience. There comes an understanding that everything that happens is all good. Even in the most critical events, an aware person has more opportunities, happy moments in this life.
When a person can spend most of their life in this calm, joyful, happy state, life takes on new colors, energy appears, motivation, talents open up or existing talents develop to the fullest. An aware person has the opportunity to improve relationships with all characters in life, to get harmony and pleasure from these relationships in all spheres.
In this book, a person receives practically an instruction and a set of tools that they can try to use for themselves on the path of their own awareness.
Awareness is needed to achieve inner understanding, find inner peace, which will lead to harmony and a feeling of happiness.
From the book, the reader will understand how important physical development, emotional development, spiritual development, and social development are for a quality happy life.
Self-development is the most important part of modern human life. Without personal development, life is usually boring and monotonous.
It’s never too late to start self-development. And this path has no endpoint.
This book can become a guide to life. It’s like an instruction manual for a refrigerator. Having such a guide at hand, a person can track their states in the present moment, find and fix everything that prevents them from being in joy. They will begin to live a full life and, if desired, change everything with their own hands. By asking themselves questions, a person can easily find their talents and purpose. There will be no place for stress. A person will learn to forgive, give, and be grateful.
This path can be described in two words – finding oneself or the meaning of life.
The soul came here for experience. The brighter the experience, the more joyful the soul is. Realizing one’s talents provides the brightest impressions. Even just enjoying a breath of air for as long as possible is already a great success. But it’s even cooler to give other souls the opportunity to go through a bright life experience by your own example.
The longer others remember us after we’re gone, the greater the good we have brought to this world during our life.
MY STORY
I was never a religious person. In the Soviet Union, I wasn’t instilled with an interest in religion. And love for spirituality was practically forbidden, or rather, it was not accepted to be a spiritual person. At that time, everyone experienced a lack of everyday comforts. But there was a happy moment – the lack of everyday aspects was successfully compensated by the courtyard and communication with neighborhood kids, and later with classmates. Yes, society didn’t give me knowledge about spirituality, but I’m grateful that it instilled in me a love for animals. And I’m grateful to society for the formation of conscience. It seems to me that from childhood I understood what was right or wrong. And the combination of kindness and conscience is already a kind of spirituality.
In 1992, I began to receive my first knowledge in the field of philosophy. At that time, in the final work, our entire class was supposed to prove that God doesn’t exist. But not a single person coped with the task. Questions arose: why is the Earth shaped like a drop, what does an ant know, is a microbe conscious. The questions remained unanswered, and life went on its course amid concerns about choosing a profession, family, and children. And it was necessary to develop in this direction.
I did many things in life unconsciously: studying out of necessity and in anticipation of higher income prospects. I chose a woman the same way: I have a conscience, I’m kind, and she loved me. So, I took pity on her.
I always did what was best for others, but it wasn’t at all due to consciousness. There was no spirituality in my choices at all. That’s why it turned out that my own choice seemed to be imposed from the outside and was never my own.
So, I drifted through life with closed eyes. I made decisions in the dark, gained experience.
What else is needed: there’s a family, children; we live in the best place on the Planet. The children are well provided for, a career has been made. Yes, there are problems in the relationship with my spouse, I don’t take care of my body. But one day, the lost interest in life began to manifest as stress. That’s how I found myself trapped by depression. This became the starting point on the path of finding myself.
I began to ask myself questions:
Why do I want to sleep again every morning when I open my eyes?
Why lethargy?
Why don’t I want anything in life?
Why are sufferings necessary?
It turns out that I needed to live to 45 years old, sink below rock bottom just to want to find the truth. I searched for it everywhere. Information came in a stream: books, videos.
I engaged in physical development: went to the gym, lost excess weight, began to allow myself tasty food and beautiful clothes. An interest appeared in building proper relationships with loved ones, new relationships with women and a desire to give more to children.
Almost in one period, several events occurred at once: I left my family; my father passed away; my previously
