Manifest
If you can in the midst of pain Sorrow and tribulation Continue to praise him Thank him and seek him All the aches are certain To manifest into blessings
Nature Of A Woman
Nature of a woman is classic in every way That endures the tests of times Regardless of the various adversities You will always get the best of her Nature of a woman is loving With a strong touch of several qualities Lives by actions which are smoother than Extra virgin olive oil Her nature is strong, deep, mysterious, And complex She is an influence of leadership Plays vital roles In the lives of people who surrounds her She is gifted with an aspiring mind With little room for failure The pattern of her analysis Takes an unequivocal position It is razor sharp Nature of a woman is classic in every way
Illusional Cyst
Fear is an illusional cyst You must resist Even though life is a journey Intertwined like the game of chess I insist you love life with a kiss At the end of the day It’s up to you to make it gorgeous Giving rise to an endless bliss Brace yourself to avoid the stress Criticism may bring It isn’t meant to depress But for you to digest And continue your conquest for success
Au Naturale
The B. S. in our society Often gains notoriety We get caught up in the mainstream We forget where our roots began Historically, grooming of the hair Wasn’t a paid trade Now it has developed into a Multi-million dollar empire All we have to show for it Are mere desires
Nothing but identity crisis And misconception to the outsiders Putting your kids’ needs on delay So you can get your hair out of layaway Is dead wrong Like Malcom X once said “The mind is a terrible thing to waste” We are wasting the minds of our children By teaching them how to belong Instead of setting our kids on the path To one day lead Babylon We need to make a change and pave the way, The unnatural manipulation of our hair Just to fit in has got to stop Like India Arie says “I am not my hair” We need to take back our heritage, Bring back the Auuuu…. Naturale state of hair Embrace yourself, keep it all originale Living the pseudo facade Of hairstyles has got to end Control the stares that continue to trend Lets stop looking like fools trying to pretend The weaves, the tracks, The wigs, are all yours to the end Be your natural self and forget the nonsense
Love Is All
If you have faith You may remove all mountains But if you do not have love You are nothing Love is all Love is kind, love is patience Love is not bragging It is not self-serving Easily angered, resentful, or rude Love is not about injustice But rejoice in the truth Love bears, endures, hopes And believes all things Love never ends It is the greatest among optimism Love is all
Dreams To Reality
Achieved through life’s journey Of royal loyalty to persistence Is dreams transformed to reality In the presence of my enemies You see? There aren’t just any me’s For there can only be one me By no means am I attracting the enemy Over and over again They try to stand in the way Of my many dreams But God prepareth a table before me On my knees I pray for My dreams evolve to reality Before the eyes of my enemy Because of steady tranquility Serenity exists from my creator Who said Martin didn’t see the future? Even though he had a dream I dare you to dream The question is do you dare to dream?
Negativity
You’re the same archenemy That doubted me Your prime proclivity Forever remained negativity Your mind so contaminated Damn near in captivity I kept on my side, positivity My blanket of security My method to dealing with your madness? Impenetrable obscurity No toxicity To invade my opportunity You’re hereby classified My enemy Because I refuse to deal with negativity
