That idea, pushed to its extreme, fired up my imagination and inspired me to write Risk It All.
Brooke Rogers has a new career as a private investigator. The past she wants to forget has left her with trust issues and nightmares, but at least she’s alive. Then she unknowingly sets foot on property owned by a mafia boss and is captured. Fortunately for Brooke, FBI agent Jared Nash is working undercover nearby and his conscience won’t allow him to leave the gorgeous blonde in harm’s way. After he rescues her, he has no desire to let her go. She’s smart and feisty but also surprisingly vulnerable, and he is attracted to her far more than he should be. Jared accepts her offer to help him search for his missing brother, partly to keep her close and safe. He can tell some past event still haunts her, and the only way to gain her trust and unleash her passion is to reveal deeply personal experiences of his own.
