Prologue
Humankind has biologically evolved for a long time. Genome research has found that Homo sapiens or modern humans result from gene exchange between different species like Neanderthal and Homo erectus. Unlike animals, humans completed walking upright. The only living things on Earth hold up their head to the sky and step on the ground with two feet. Although the lifestyles of modern people slightly hinder the right posture, we have biologically completed evolution.
If so, what do humans live for 21C? Mankind has existed to cultivate and enhance knowledge. Accumulating knowledge cannot be done by animals or gods, only by homo sapiens. Therefore, human beings use language and have short- and long-term memory. Memory and language enable us to communicate and improve our knowledge beyond time and space, which thus develops technology and culture. And then it is time for us to think about mental evolution. Outwardly we are of the same human form, but each of us has different standards of living, ranging from egoism to altruism. In other words, we are evolving away from animal instinct to mental maturity.
Thus, a developed environment based on knowledge urges us to live an altruistic life. That is also why knowledge has been widened and deepened so far. It seems that the time has come for us not to be a slave to the flesh like beasts, but to accomplish spiritual evolution and then to become real decent humans. This book will describe who we are and why we were born as human beings and the quality and orientation of new humankind that will emerge after COVID-19.
Furthermore, I expect this book could fill the gap which men have been making by collapsing existing common-senses for us to become mentally mature. And this book will present the humanity of the future and introduce a methodology to be new mankind. I will not provide further information about the great men mentioned in this book. Their achievements deserve praise. However, I do not want readers to be overwhelmed by their authority and jargon or to adhere to the concepts they had established. It is only the knowledge of that day. With that knowledge, we need wisdom now.

1. A tale for Adults
Once upon a time, there was nothing. Suddenly, a concept of ‘I’ appeared and it wanted to exist independently. As soon as the existence of self emerged as a subject, ‘I’ separated you from me to define the self. It happens like the ambivalence of brightness and darkness.
The elements claiming to be ‘I’ began to move chaotically and fast. They bumped into each other, leaving scars. Nevertheless, they considered that existing as ‘I’ will be better. As its power and speed accelerated, Big Bang occurred.
And then it all began. Heaven and Earth were created but it took a while for human beings to emerge. Initially, they acted like animals but the history of humankind has slowly begun to dawn, proving and insisting ‘self or ego’ with the development of civiliation.
At some time, the ego eventually opened Pandora's box. All the evils came out of it. On this planet, ‘I’ tried to make myself stand out and make the difference more obvious.
In order to do that, I, my family, my society, or my country have to be better and have more. On the other hand, you, your family, your society, or your country should be worse and have less for sure. So, things like war, poverty, murder, assault, fraud, blame, hatred, despair, and etc. inevitably came out.
Once most people were only focusing on their own interests, some words began to be heard. In chronological order, Siddhartha said, “There is nothing to be said as mine”. Then, Confucius said, “What you do not want to be done to yourself, do not do to others”. Socrates also said, “Know yourself” and Jesus said, “You must love your neighbor as yourself”. Those were called saints who would be able to speak of self-reflection and consideration of others.
However, individuality has contributed life on Earth enriched with art, culture, technology. In 2020, now ‘I’ can quite freely show off my personality in various ways. Some people have a great deal of money, good looking, renown, or knowledge much more than the others.
However, a question keeps asking us “are you happy now?”. Humanity has evolved over the years, and now that the ego has been diversely expressed and proven its existence. So, how can we answer that question?
People have developed to the best of their ability, but there seems to be no hope of moving forward anymore. My story will begin right here. If you are interested, please follow me by turning the next page.
