girl just came to check on you and to make sure that this girl’s assistance was not needed. A girl can assist in matters of this type. He is such a vulgar man and once placed his hands all over a girl.” Johann himself perked a brow at her speech. “Yes he was a very vulgar man.”

They went back inside hand in hand and he was still kissing her cheek as they entered. Rissy’s friends almost fainted never seeing her behave in this manner. He knew it was late and his heart was glad that she had been so receptive to him. Rissy looked at the clock and bowed her head. “Johann it’s time for a girl to leave, but this girl does hope to run into you again soon.” Johann still a little off guard with the speech replied “Perhaps tomorrow evening we could go out for dinner.” “A girl would like that Johann.” Her friends were taken aback at her speech. In unison they said “He’s European not medieval Rissy.” To which Rissy replied. “A....I know that you guys.” “Pick me up at eight Johann.” “I will Rissy.” When she was almost home, she turned to her friends. “I forgot to tell him how to find my house.” They all laughed at her and then asked her why she carried on so and why did she talk like that to him. She blurted out “I know him very well or at least he is very familiar to me.” One of them said, “I bet you’ve been screwing him. Virgin my ass.” Rissy glared at her and the girl had a headache suddenly. “It’s really weird. I’m serious; I think I’ve always known him.” Another spoke up and laughed “Rissy you’re the weird one.” “Maybe so, but I’m the one with the date tomorrow.” Almost in unison her friends laughing hard said “Yeah if he can find your house.” Rissy blushed and ran into her house trying to think of a way to let him know where she lived until she passed out. The next morning as she took her walk she saw him again as he was picking up his paper. “Johann, I’m glad I found you. I live two blocks up on the right number 5683.” He smiled “I’ll be there at eight.” She smiled feeling much relieved and when she returned home she took a well deserved nap and waited for the appointed time.

Johann smiled as Rissy continued her walk but what surprised him was that she didn’t seem the least bit shocked at seeing him. It was as though she knew that he would be close by and this greatly intrigued him. While they had been talking he could pick up her sweet scent but it was a little different this time around, a little more powerful. He had not noticed it the night before possibly due the amount of perfume in the air and his nervousness.

He continued to watch her and noticed her walk; she seemed to have much more confidence than she had previously. He was then hit by a sweet voice. “Looking at my ass are you? Enjoy for that is as much as a girl will ever let the likes of you see.” This was followed by a soft giggle. He chuckled and sent her a little thought. “Remember Rissy, you know you called me the devil and this devil gets what he wants sooner or later.” A quick reply was received. “My dear Johann, you will have to marry a gir…me to ever get that.” Then still tuned into her he heard “Where in the world is this ‘girl’ thing coming from?” He didn’t reply to that it seemed to be a private thought and either she had forgotten to block him or she wanted him to hear but he decided that it was the former.

This era was interesting indeed. He wondered the extent of her powers; what could she do and had this come naturally? He was glad that times had changed in that regard. It made it easier for her to be open and accept what she was much like before the medieval period which had been fraught with so much denial of the gifts some received. Rissy had been scared of herself then and it had caused great internal struggling and despair for her. Somehow she finally learned what she needed but almost died in doing so.

Now his predicament was becoming a little more severe. Where was he going to take her for dinner? He had always been a little forgetful of such details. He did not really know his way around this city and knew that he would have to remedy this situation. As he was looking through the phone book, he realized that he really hated phones because no one bothered him until he was busy. Svelta and Charlotte happened to come into the room to clean and were discussing the restaurant where they had dined the night before. Johann perked up and asked them where it was that they had gone. They looked at him and giggled. “We splurged.” Charlotte boasted. “Charlotte, my dear would you please call and make reservations under my name for two?” She smiled her little seductive smile. “I will but you will either have to sleep with me or reimburse us for what we had to pay for our meals.” He smiled wickedly, rose from his seat, and approached her slowly, kissing her cheek and whispering, “Tell me dear how much it was and I will see that you are reimbursed.” Charlotte’s face turned sour and Svelta laughed. “You should know better than to give him a choice like that.” “Well mother, if neither of us has been sleeping with him and I doubt daddy has, then the poor man has to be about ready to burst, therefore it was worth a shot. Maybe I shouldn’t have worn panties and had worn the short skirt and bent over right in front of him.” Johann laughed. “I sure hope that you would have bathed first.” Charlotte became infuriated and Svelta laughed even harder.

“Johann my love, you should not tease the girl so. She adores you and she has missed your bed, but I understand that whether or not she does, and I must say that I have been impressed by your abstinence, but don’t you think that you should take Charlotte up on her offer so that you don’t…you know, before Rissy has time to enjoy?” “Svelta have you ever known me to be that quick? I think not; if I remember correctly there were never any complaints from you.” She bowed her head speaking softly, “But Johann you had never gone without pleasure for this long of a period before and I was only trying to assist you. Most girls first times are disasters and I just don’t want Rissy’s to be and my darling I know that it would kill you if you did not please her on her special night.” He gazed at the floor. “Svelta both of these things are very important to me as you well know. You know that I will allow her to decide when it happens and that she will be the one to decide the exact moment of the deflowering.” “I know my love, but…” He cut her off. “Svelta surely you know that there are other ways a woman and a man can release their tension without penetration.” She blushed and said nothing. She knew how right he was. Johann was glad that Rissy was blocked from hearing this conversation. He was sure that she would agree to the last part but would have been appalled and perhaps angry for their discussion about her virginity and sex life, as well as the fact that Johann and the others spoke as if it was a matter of time and fact that he would be the one she ended up with.

Charlotte had made the reservations in the meantime. “Johann, I told them to have their most secluded table prepared and that the reservations were to be under the name of Graf Johann Todesengel von Gottes Gnaden. He asked me what that was supposed mean, so I translated it for him and assured him that if all went well, that he had nothing to fear. Why some people get so upset when they understand your name I can’t for the life of me understand.” She giggled and so did Johann and Svelta. Randolf had to come in to see what he had been missing and when he heard he just shook his head and said. “Charlotte sometimes I think you are more of the angel of death than he is. You scare people to death saying that and drive me to drink.” At almost the same time Johann, Svelta, and Charlotte said “You find any excuse to drink.” Then they all laughed.

Johann found and took Charlotte with him to a florist and ordered a mix spray of roses, baby’s breath, tiger lilies, carnations, and a couple of tulips and had them ordered to be delivered to Rissy’s by seven-thirty. He thought it would be best if he went in person. He actually preferred the computer, but was afraid that someone would make a mistake. Cash talked a little faster than any internet anyway. He filled out the card after inspecting the flowers.

      “My Dear Miss Moonshower,

I am honored that you accepted my invitation to dine with me. I shall be there at the appointed time. This is a semi-formal dinner.

      Humbly yours, Johann.”

He then remembered that Rissy had no idea that it was semiformal and that she would need time to prepare. It was already five-thirty and he was to be there by eight. He gave the delivery man a hundred extra dollars to take them immediately and sent Charlotte with him in case the young lady needed any assistance. He gave Charlotte a single yellow rose to take with her for his foolish mistake. Charlotte laughed and then she called Rissy and spoke with her. She told Rissy that Johann had not even found her telephone number in
