The sun is heading towards the horizon over my left shoulder, the low light casting lovely sparkles on the water. A few birds are chirping away, with the occasional squirrel having a fuss, likely over a dropped seed. Spread out all around me are my notes from the last 10 years of research and story collecting. With a glass of fine white wine at my elbow and some soft nature music playing in the background, I reach for my keyboard and the words start to flow. As my fingers fly, I wonder how on earth to capture one of the greatest love affairs of my life, my affair with Tandem Computers.
