      Ошибка автора. Клонидин является центральным альфа-2-адреностимулятором, то есть возбуждает специфические (альфа-2) адренорецепторы на нейронах центральной нервной системы (головного мозга), регулирующих активность симпатической системы, отвечающей в том числе и за повышение артериального давления. Стимуляция центральных альфа-2-рецепторов приводит к угнетению активности симпатической нервной системы, а значит, и к снижению артериального давления.
