3. Select Save As from the drop-down list.
4. Locate where you wish to save the workspace file.
(Note: This is a fairly large file so make sure you have data area available.)
5. Enter a name.
6. Select the Save button
Your customized workspace is now saved and can be imported onto another computer. Import instructions are on the next page.
Now that you have created your workspace you may wish to Import the workspace onto another computer. Note: You should be importing the workspace into a computer that does not have the workspace that you wish to import.
1. Select the Customize User Interface Import using one of the following:
Ribbon = Manage Tab / Customization Panel /
or
Keyboard = CUIIMPORT <enter>
2. Select Open from the drop-down list.
3. Locate the previously saved workspace file.
4. Select the .cuix file.
5. Select the Open button.
6. Set Current if you wish to use it. (Refer to page 2-4.)
7. Select the Apply and OK button located at the bottom of the dialog box.
1. Select the Customize User Interface.
2. Right click on any workspace that you do not want to delete.
3. Right Click and select Set Current. (You can not delete a workspace if it is “current”.)
4. Right click on the workspace that you wish to delete.
5. Select Delete.
6. Select Yes if you really want to delete the workspace.
7. Select Apply and OK buttons.

Create a Master Decimal Setup Template
The following instructions will guide you through creating a “Master” decimal setup template. This setup template is very similar to the setup template you may have made while using the Beginning AutoCAD® 2018 Exercise Workbook but there are a few differences.
New Settings
1. Begin your drawing with a different template as follows:
A. Select the New command.
B. Select template file acad.dwt from the list of templates for inch users.
or
Select template file acadiso.dwt from the list of templates for metric users.
(Note: Do not select “acad3D.dwt” or “acadiso3D.dwt” by mistake.)
2. Set the Drawing Units as follows:
A. Type units <enter>
B. Change the Type and Precision as shown.
C. Select OK button.
3. Set the Drawing Limits (Size of the drawing area) as follows:
A. Type Limits <enter>
B. Select Off
“Off” means that your drawing area in Model Space is unlimited. You will control the plotting with the Layout Tabs. (Paper Space.)
C. Zoom / All.
4. Set the Grids and Snap as follows:
A. Type DS <enter>
B. Select the Snap and Grid Tab.
C. Change the settings as shown below.
D. Select the OK button.
5. Change Lineweight settings as follows:
A. Right click on Lineweight button located on the status line.
B. Select Lineweight Settings.
C. Change to Inches or Millimeters and adjust the Display scale as shown below.
D. Select the OK button.
6. Create new Layers as follows:
A. Load the linetypes listed below.
Center2, Hidden, Phantom2
B. Assign names, colors, linetypes, lineweights and plotability as shown below:
Note: Make the OBJECT LINE layer current and change the VIEWPORT layer to Not Plot by clicking on the printer icon.
7. Create a new Text
