of the process of things, if you are willing to accept that your family is waiting for you, if you are willing to accept that your friends are still alive.

For many people, however, there is an inbuilt need within the soul to continue a journey or to go somewhere as it were, and, for those people, illusions are set up to take them across from the vibrational barrier that buffers at one end with the Earth and at the other end with the higher levels of consciousness. A ‘journey’ needs to be set up; an illusion needs to be set up and so (and I have mentioned this in a previous communication) people get what they expect. They will, for example, step out of their physical body and find themselves confronted by a boat, or an aeroplane, or a train, or a carriage or any other of many vehicles waiting for them, and they will find themselves with other people who have passed and made the transition at that moment.

There will be, in charge of this vehicle, an organiser or organisers from higher levels of consciousness, and these people will instruct those who are newly passed into the spirit realms to board the vehicle and to remain calm. Your culture leans towards figures of authority; in times of panic there are those who say, ‘Remain calm!’ and there is built into your physical consciousness the will to obey people in such positions and to say, ‘Well, yes, this person knows what they are talking about.’ So, with newly-passed souls, in many cases, it is necessary for them to be told what to do: to be told not to panic; to be told that everything is alright; to be told that they must go here, and do this, and do that, and think this, and think that… in order to get them away from the physicality that they have just left. This collecting of newly-passed souls occupies their minds for long enough for them to be moved away from the attraction that may still be there with their physical body, so it is a smoke-screen; it is a busy-ness of the mind that gives them something to do.

Also it is important that they move onwards across the buffer – the zone that exists between the Earth and the first of the spiritual realms. So they will find themselves on a boat or in a plane with people who are in the same predicament (as they see it) and the vehicle will then appear to move across a landscape. That landscape may be a sky, or a desert, or a river, or an ocean – but there is the impression they are moving somewhere on a vehicle being organised by people that they instinctively know know better than them because of the Light that they give out from their auras: ‘Here are people in authority who know what they are doing. I am in a strange landscape in a strange place. I don’t know what is happening but I will follow them.’

Then the vehicle moves across this landscape (which I must impress on you is an illusion – just as everything else is) and appears to reach a destination. That destination is sometimes an airport, or a shore, or a railway station, or some other terminus and, when the vehicle reaches that destination, the people are instructed by the higher spirits that they must disembark.

We will return to the buffer zone, because souls obviously are moving into that zone or in-between state all the time in their hundreds – sometimes in their thousands – and many souls still believe that they are the limitation of the flesh: they talk a certain language, they respect a certain culture and so it is organised that that soul is met by people who appear to talk the same language, who appear to understand the same culture and be a part of that culture, so that they are comfortable or as comfortable as they possibly can be having made the transition.

The area between the earth plane and the first ‘sphere’ (I suppose I should call it) is a ‘buffer’ in more ways than one. It has a quietening effect on the souls after they have passed; it has a deadening effect on them with regard to the life they have just lived; it has the effect of filtering out many of the things that the souls will have externalised before they passed. If it did not do this then there would be more of a pull from the Earth to continue with the episodes that are going on in a soul’s life at the time that it makes the transition. In other words, it would still be worried about the payments for the house or the problems with a marriage or raising enough money – because all these things it has been immersed in for its lifetime and, yes, it will have to address the ramifications of the major dramas and the major karmic facets that have been around itself as it makes the transition but not at that point.

We have to move the soul on from the earth plane and this is another reason why there appears to be a journey, but the effect of the in-between zone or buffer or area of limbo is a deadening of that externalisation of circumstance that relates only to the physical Field. So, as the soul makes its supposed journey and as it travels across to that far shore, or that airport, or whatever the terminus happens to be, then the effects of the earth plane are deadened and lessened and loosened so that, as it sits there in its vehicle of choice (a boat, plane, train or whatever it is), it becomes more aware of its spiritual heritage and more forgetful of its earthly life for a time.

The buffer zone also has a filtering effect on any entities that may surround the soul at the point of transition. There are, as you will know, degrees of sentient entities that are linked to the earth plane and the Lower Astral planes only. These entities may have been feeding on the soul and leeching energy from the soul at the point of its transition. They may also have been influencing the soul during its time on Earth – trying to create mental situations that will allow it to draw more power so, obviously, these entities are still attached to the soul at the point of transition. Sometimes the soul will be so attached to these entities that it will be persuaded at the point of death to remain with them for a time, but the intention is always to draw the soul away from such things and towards a higher vibration. As the journey takes place and as the vibration gradually increases within the buffer zone, then those entities (like parasites, ticks or mites) cannot hold onto a vibration that is faster than the one they are exhibiting and the one that they have been created in and are maintained in, and so they fall away from the soul. Now this is not something that usually can be seen (except by experienced eyes and except in extreme cases where a person is overrun by such beings); it would not be prudent for the souls who have made the transition to see that they have certain thought-forms attached to them so this cleansing takes place invisibly as far as they are concerned.

This does not apply to those who are spiritually aware. For those who are spiritually aware, their friend or their family member or someone from their group soul turns up and says, ‘Come this way’ and the soul is sufficiently enlightened to get rid of its own entities (if there are any) and to say, ‘Of course I will come this way. Thank goodness I am going back home!’ So that transition is a more rapid affair than the one for the majority of people where they need to be gradually raised in vibration and cleansed from the effects of the earth plane as they move towards the first spiritual sphere.

Also, we have to deal with trauma on many occasions because, although the point of death that I have talked about is peaceful, people sometimes do not believe this. Their physical-mental-faculty is so enmeshed with the earth plane and so accepting of what has been happening to them at the point of death that they continue the ‘game’. They continue to feel that they are hurt – even though they are whole; even though they can breathe easily; even though they can be comfortable in the moment that it takes to change a thought – they believe in the circumstances that were surrounding them before death and so are shocked. They believe, for example, if they died in a fire, that they are still on fire; they believe if they died of cancer or a terminal illness that that illness continues. There are those who do not instantly release the pain (just as there are those who do not instantly release the entities and those who do not instantly accept that they have passed over) so we have to deal with pain. Some souls scream, some souls are in a panic state and to these souls we send specialists, who calm them down and move them onto the vehicle so that they can be transported across the zone. In some cases we have to put them in a kind of sleep – if we cannot reason with them and if we cannot accelerate their vibrational rate to the point where they suddenly realise that they are fine, then we have to put them in a kind of unconsciousness. It is a bliss – it is not like an unconsciousness that you have at night where you may have troubled dreams (or even good dreams) but you are aware of being still attached to the earth plane. It is a bliss and they need to be withdrawn until they can awaken in a higher state of consciousness.

So there are many considerations that have to be addressed in order to get a soul across to the start-point of their spiritual journey. It is a complex and diverse operation and you can see
