became so surprised that he couldn’t tell as to whether he should be amazed or terrified.

“Hideyoshi?” Gabriel whispered. “What’s out there?”

“A-A Gundam.” He said with eyes still glued to the sight he’s witnessing now.

“What the bloody hell are you talking…about?”

Dirk was also shocked along with the rest who followed when they took a look of what Hideyoshi is witnessing. There’s two of them plus a half of a dozen of foot soldiers. All of them were armed and armored. But it’s the “Gundams”, which Hideyoshi called them, that caught their attention. They’re giant humanoid robots, which are 17 meters big and carries assault rifles that are as big as a battleship cannon. Probably does deadlier devastation than a regular battleships.

“I can’t believe what I'm seeing. That is awesome!” Hideyoshi said with ridiculous enthusiasm.

“Does this mean we’re really in…another world?” Gabriel asked.

“Either that or we ended up in Earth at a far future. Whatever it is, this is awesome!”

Then, coming along with the armed soldiers, there are three people. All of them were small as Emma, so they’re probably children. They’re eyes were blindfolded which made Gabriel get the bad feeling of something awful is going to happen; especially, since he could see a small flow of tears leaking out from the blindfolds.

The three of them were lined onto the street facing the buildings in front of them, and soldiers standing so sternly from behind. One of them, who appears to be an officer, stepped out of the group.

“What are they doing?” Emma asked. Dirk whispered her to be quiet and to look away because he too is getting the sense that something bad is going to happen.

One by one, the officer untied the blindfolds on the children. After that, he pulled out his watch or some sort and made an announcement:

Attention citizens and scum of Yhav! It seems your crimes against the world and your defiance from acknowledging our judgement will never stop. Don’t you all realize the sooner you accept your punishment, the sooner it will be easy for all of us. I guess it can’t be helped now. As of today, for the crimes of resisting the Imperial Police Force authorities along with Director Aiden's rule, these three children will immediately be sentence to death!

“They’re going to kill those children? That’s crazy!” Hideyoshi said. From Gabriel’s point of view, it looks like that officer is going to enjoy watching such an agonizing sight. Just like Emily and her friends were about to do to him back at the city.

“We have to stop them,” Gabriel said as he was about to dash in until Sarah stopped him.

“What are you doing?” he asked.

“That’s my line, stupid!” she growled. Hideyoshi help her.

“Dude, she’s right! Can’t you see they have guns and even Gundams and we don’t have anything at all? How can you help them…?”

“Over there, Rebels!” cried out one of soldiers pointing at the five at the alleyway. He and the others immediately open fired at them. The five tried to escape through the alley until the path before them got closed off when the walls collapse on it suddenly.

“That is a warning!” cried the voice coming from one of outside of the alleyway. “Now drop your weapons and come out slowly with your hands up or else we will open fire!”

“Dirk,” Emma crying on him, “I’m scared.”

“Everything will be fine Emma. Just don’t look.”

Everyone did what the man in the mecha said. Everyone beside Dirk and Emma who were clinching together with fear shivering down their spines.

“Hey, you two,” called out the other man in the mecha. “Stop clinching each other and put your hands up now!”

“We didn’t anything wrong. So, what’s the friggin problem?”

      “Are you resisting?”

      “What? No!”

“I’m engaging!” the mecha pointed his massive rifle at Dirk and Emma. When he pulled the triggered, Dirk pushed Emma away from him right before the impact.

“Dirk!!!” Emma screamed. The blast was strong enough to almost blow them off into another world.

“Now listen little girl,” said the same robot who is now pointing his weapon at Emma now. “Be a good kid. Stand and put your hands up now!”

“This is crazy,” Gabriel whispered. He really wants to help, but he knows what Sarah and Hideyoshi just said is true. Besides, he and the other two can’t do anything thanks to the other robot keeping its eyes on them.

“I said stand up with your hands in the air!”

Emma couldn’t do it. She was too appalled after witnessing her own brother getting blown up in front of her. In fact, all she can do is crying.

      “I said…”

“Leave her alone!” cried the voice that sounds familiar. Someone leapt straight at the mecha. With just one punch, the mecha was pushed back to the ground. The pilot even died by being crushed to death after that fatal impact.

“Dirk!?” cried Emma as she approached him with tears of joy. “You’re really okay!”

      Chapter 4

Never has any of them could see this coming. First, they mysteriously appeared inside a train that can travel from world to world. Next was this Alternate person and the quest he has given them. Lastly, they ended up into this crazy other world. One that possessed mechas who’re about to execute them just as they were about to do the same with those kids. But the most unforeseen event that happened, so far, was Dirk overwhelming that mecha

“I can’t believe it,” Gabriel gasped.

“That’s so awesome,” Hideyoshi said with eyes glistened by astonishment.

Enrage by seeing his own comrade died just now, the other mecha put all his attention towards Dirk. He fired his rifle at him. Some of the bullets hit him but for some reason, while he’s in a defensive boxing-like stance, it didn’t kill him nor gave him any fatal injuries. It just pushed him back a bit until the gun is out of ammo. So, the mecha resorted to close combat when he pulls out his large claymore sword. With one swing, he sent Dirk flying.

“Dirk!” Emma called out. She was about to run towards him, but Sarah stopped her.

“We need to hide,” said Sarah while forcefully carrying Emma onto her shoulder.

      “Hide where?” Gabriel asked.

      “Anywhere but here!”

Gabriel nodded. He then called out to Hideyoshi was still mind-blown from watching an actual life or death battle that can only exist from the world of fiction.

“Hideyoshi!” Gabriel smacking some sense into him. “You’re not watching TV. You’re watching a real fight that can kill us if we get caught up in it.”

“B-But,” Hideyoshi stuttered before he got hit hard in the stomach, and it finally brought him to fully understand the situation.

       CRASH!!!

Dirk was slammed into a tall street light then onto the ground. Once the mecha dash itself toward him by using its thrusters, it immediately pinned him down by placing the blunted tip of its weapon onto his chest. Some foot soldiers, even the officer, showed up pointing their guns at him. They would have immediately pull the trigger if the officer hadn’t order them
