ГРАММАТИКА
В английском языке первым из 12 времен глагола является Present Simple Tense – Настоящее Простое Время. Оно служит для того, чтобы рассказывать, сообщать о постоянных, обычных, привычных действиях, совершаемых с определенной регулярностью. Например:
I go to work every day.
He plays football two times a week.
We often watch this program on TV.
Также с его помощью мы говорим о постоянных вещах и характеристиках чего- или кого-либо. Например:
She likes playing the violin.
He is rather stupid.
The sun rises in the east.
Мы используем это время, когда мы говорим о будущем в рамках какого-либо расписания. Например:
The train leaves for Kiev tomorrow at 5 p.m.
The plain flies at 7:15.
The exam starts the day after tomorrow at 9 a.m.
Нужно помнить, что в английском языке есть ДВА ГЛАГОЛА, которые образуют Present Simple не по правилам. Это глаголы BE и HAVE, то есть БЫТЬ и ИМЕТЬ. Глагол БЫТЬ полностью индивидуален и самодостаточен. Для вопросительной и отрицательной форм он не требует никаких вспомогательных глаголов. Запомните правило:
ЕСЛИ В РУССКОМ ПРЕДЛОЖЕНИИ НЕТ ГЛАГОЛА, В АНГЛИЙСКОМ ПРЕДЛОЖЕНИИ НАДО ИСПОЛЬЗОВАТЬ ГЛАГОЛ BE. Например, предложение
«Я студент этого института» переводится как « I am a student of this institute», что значит дословно « Я ЕСТЬ студент этого института».
BE – есть, являться, находиться где-то, иметься. Примеры:
He is ill. – Он болен. = Он является больным.
We are his sisters. – Мы его сестры. = Мы являемся его сестрами.
I am a tsar. – Я царь. = Я есмь царь.
The restaurant is on the left. – Ресторан слева. = Ресторан находится слева.
