SMALL AS WE ARE, EVERYTHING APPEARS LARGE AND DISTANT [1.]: THE COUNTER IN SYLVIA'S KITCHEN, THE WHITE FOLK, THE ENTIRE CIRCUIT BOARD OF NEW YORK CITY, THE PROSPECT OF FAME, FORTUNE, AND EVEN ATTENDING UNIVERSITY.
