      Jamais Vu State of Mind

      When you keep repeating a lie

      people will accept it as truth.

      But underneath that feeling is a

      merciful border that never existed,

      splitting the familiar stone tablets

      when we grind our teeth at night

      & wake up in the morning tired.

      There’s a lot of work to get done,

      love & devotion are strange deities

      who are notoriously indirect with

      their instructions. It happens when

      you focus on somebody while walking,

      the trees straining toward each other

      & past the flailing villages made from

      our kin.
