Pluto has been in your 8th house of transformation for some years now. The ruler of your 8th house, Saturn, is in ‘mutual reception’ with Pluto, which indicates wonderful co-operation between the two planets. Each is a guest in the other’s house. Thus there is good access to outside money. Your line of credit should increase this year. Your ability to obtain or pay down debt (depending on your need) is good. If you have good ideas it seems easy to attract outside investment to your projects. Also, you will have opportunities to invest in troubled or even bankrupt properties or companies and turn them around.
It is said that the only major difference between a poor person and a rich person is that the rich person has easy access to outside money. Business runs on credit. Rarely is personal money used. So this easy access to credit that you have is another signal of financial success. The only caveat here is that credit should be used and not abused. And you are in a cycle where you are learning the difference between constructive and destructive debt.
On July 16 Jupiter will leave your money house. I read this as you having mostly attained your financial goals (we never fully attain them as there is always more, more to do and more to be had – but there is a sense of satiation). Instead you will start turning your attention to your true love and true gift – communication and intellectual interests. On the financial level, Jupiter’s move from the 2nd to the 3rd house of communication shows increased income from savings and investments. This generally comes through increased dividend or interest income.

The years 2012 and 2013 were exceptionally strong in terms of your love and social life. Many of you married or got involved in relationships that were ‘like’ a marriage. Some of you met people you would consider marrying – people who were ‘marriage material’. The 7th house of love and marriage is not a house of power this year, and I read this as a basic satisfaction with things as they are. There is no need for dramatic changes. Married couples will tend to stay married and singles will tend to stay single.
In 2013 the aspects were favourable for business-type partnerships and joint ventures – this too is a form of marriage but on the economic level. This can still happen in 2014 as well.
With Jupiter as your love planet you have a natural affinity with wealthy, jet-setting types of people – and this year even more so than usual. Jupiter spends the first half of the year in your money house. Wealth is definitely a romantic turn-on.
However, wealth alone is not enough. Jupiter in the sign of Cancer shows that the beloved must have strong family values. Emotional intimacy – emotional sharing and nurturing – is very important in love, perhaps just as important as the physical aspects. There is such a thing as ‘emotional sex’. Until July 16 the still-unattached Gemini finds love opportunities as he or she pursues financial goals, and perhaps with people who are involved in his or her finances. Love attitudes start to change after July 16 as the love planet moves into Leo, your 3rd house. The mental connection becomes important in love. Communication is always important to you but now it becomes a love issue. There is a need for mental compatibility, a need to fall in love with the mind as well as the body. Ease of communication is a romantic turn-on. Speech is a form of foreplay. The mind is an erogenous zone.
When Jupiter moves into Leo, love opportunities will happen within the neighbourhood and perhaps with neighbours. Love is close to home. Love opportunities also happen in educational-type settings – at school or school functions, at lectures or seminars, in the library or at the magazine rack at your local newsagent. These are good venues as the sharing of mental interests is a good first step in love – a good first connection.

Saturn has been in your 6th house of health since October 2012, and will remain there for almost the whole year ahead. Aside from the physical aspects of health, which we have discussed, this indicates changes in attitude. It shows a need to avoid ‘quickie’ health fixes – things that only give temporary relief – and a focus on long-term cure and prevention. Generally this involves lifestyle adjustments. Also it shows a need – and an ability – to undertake disciplined, rigorous daily health regimes. This is a positive for your health. However, this transit can also make a person ultra conservative in health matters, unwilling to try new and perhaps beneficial therapies. Just because something is new doesn’t mean that it is bad. Do your homework.
Neptune, as we mentioned, is now in your 10th house of career for the long term – for the next 12 or so years. This brings idealism to the career, as we said. In many cases it indicates a career in a non-profit or charitable organization. Perhaps the pay is not what you would like, but there will be great personal satisfaction – something that money can’t buy. It is something internal.
For many of you this shows that your true mission (as opposed to your outer career or work) is your spiritual practice, your spiritual growth. Though these practices seem solitary and subtle (nothing overt seems to happen) they are nevertheless very powerful. First they change your internal condition on a personal level. This in turn affects the internal condition of family members and those you come in contact with. Then the waves spread out to the community, the city, the country and the world.
Many people think that world changes happen in the White House, Wall Street, Brussels or in Parliament. The truth is that it is spiritual breakthroughs made by solitary practitioners – away from the crowds, flashing cameras and hoopla – that change the world. The activities of the politicians and rulers are merely the end result of changes that were made by individuals meditating alone.
So these activities are a valid career path from the spiritual perspective of things.
