Just like in many other places in Microsoft Teams, you can use the @mention in your status to refer directly to someone else in your stead.
Enable Do Not Disturb
The Do not disturb status is set by default when sharing a screen or app during a Teams meeting. However, you can also set this yourself anytime you’d like. The Do not disturb status suppresses nearly all notifications, so no messages or calls will pop up onto your screen. This makes the status a nice feature to mute all notifications when enabled.
Enable Do Not Disturb
Click your profile photo or initials in the top-right corner to open the Profile menu.
Select the first option in the now displayed menu. This is your current status.
Click Do not disturb.
You can reset the status by clicking Reset status.
You can set the duration of your Do not disturb by skipping steps 3 and 4; instead, click Duration. Set your status and the time after which it should reset. Now click Done.
Manage Priority Access
If you have colleagues who need to reach you even when you are in the Do not disturb mode, there is an option to allow exceptions to bypass the block. Note that these colleagues can bypass the block even when you are presenting your screen in a meeting.
