12. Remove the magazine housing downward.
13. Push out the cross pin at the top of the magazine housing, and remove the sear upward and toward the front.
14. Note the relationship of the trigger and its spring before removal, to aid in reassembly. Push out the cross pin at the lower rear of the magazine housing, and remove the trigger and its spring toward the rear and downward. Take care that the trigger spring isn’t lost. Restrain it, and ease it out.
15. The trigger stop pin can also be drifted out, but can be left in place, as it retains no part.
16. The ejector is easily pushed from its slot in the underside of the receiver for removal.
17. Removal of the two screws in the outer band of the safety catch at the rear of the receiver will allow the catch to be taken off. Caution:Removal of the safety will release the safety positioning plunger and spring, so restrain them and ease them out.
Reassembly Tips:
1. When replacing the ejector in its slot in the underside of the receiver, be sure its vertical face is toward the front, and its angled end toward the rear, as shown.
2. When replacing the trigger and its spring, taking out the trigger stop pin will make this operation easier. Insert the cross pin from the right, just far enough to hold the spring in position, then put in the trigger, and move the cross pin the rest of the way across. Be sure the front arm of the spring is against its shoulder or shelf inside the housing.
3. When replacing the locking cross bolt in the body of the bolt, note that the face with the deep cut and hole must be oriented toward the rear, and install the locking bolt before the firing pin is returned to its channel.
4. When replacing the bolt handle, be sure its front projection enters the hole in the rear face of the locking bolt, and note that the handle must be in the unlocked position, as shown, when the bolt is inserted into the receiver.

In 1986, the California Instrument Company startled the world of 22 rimfire rifles by bringing out a semi-auto with a unique helical-feed magazine that had a capacity of 100 rounds. This was not the only innovation-the design has many nice little touches of engineering. The M-105 Sporter, with a wood stock and forend, was introduced in 1989. It is the same mechanically, and the instructions will apply.
Disassembly:
1. Remove the magazine and open the stock. Cycle the action to cock the hammer, and set the safety in on-safe position. It is not necessary to take off the folding stock for further disassembly, but if removal is required, drift the stock. retaining pin out upward. The stock can then be slid off toward the rear.
2. The stock latch can be removed by drifting out the roll cross pin. If this is done, the coil spring and the magazine ejector plunger can then be taken out.
3. The stock release lever and its coil spring can be removed by drifting out this roll cross pin. The other stock components are riveted in place, and routine removal is not advisable.
4. The lower receiver is retained by two hollow cross pins at the rear, and a hinge post at the front. The cross pins are flared on one side and must be pushed out in that direction-in this case, toward the left.
5. Drift or push out the rear cross pin.
6. Drift out the other cross pin.
7. Draw the bolt back slightly to clear the extractor from its recess in the barrel, and keeping the bolt
